OngoingThe C Umpire Course is intended for umpires who have completed the D Umpire Course and gained practical experience officiating at competitions, and who wish to develop their skills for more demanding umpiring roles. The course focuses on the practical application of competition rules, match control and management, more advanced pattern judging, and resolving challenging situations that may arise during competitions. Participants will also learn the procedures and responsibilities associated with roles such as Center Referee, Jury Member, and other positions requiring a higher level of responsibility. The goal of the course is to improve the umpire’s decision-making skills, consistency, and confidence in competition environments, while preparing participants to officiate at T2-level events and other higher-level competitions.

D-tuomarikoulutus
OngoingThe D Umpire Course is the introductory officiating course organized by the Finnish ITF Taekwon-Do Association for practitioners interested in becoming competition umpires. The course introduces the rules of the various competition disciplines, the responsibilities of different umpire roles, and the procedures used during competitions. It provides the knowledge required to officiate at T3-level events and serves as the foundation for further umpire education. During the course, participants will learn the basics of judging patterns, sparring, power breaking, special techniques, and pre-arranged sparring, as well as rules related to competitors’ equipment and safety. The course also introduces the Finnish ITF Taekwon-Do umpire system and officiating practices. The course is intended for Taekwon-Do practitioners who are at least 14 years old, hold a minimum rank of blue belt, and are interested in contributing to competitions as an umpire.

Taekwon-Do-ohjaajakoulutus 1 (TOK 1)
OngoingTaekwon-Do Instructor Course 1 (TOK 1) is the first phase (20 h) of the ITF Taekwon-Do Finland level 1 training path, designed for students ranked 4th gup to 1st gup. The course is a mandatory requirement for the 1st Dan black belt exam. The course consists of independent online studies (this course), a practical face-to-face session, and guided assistant teaching practice at the student's home club under a mentor. The training provides the skills to act as an assistant instructor, focusing on the basic structures of teaching, martial arts philosophy (DO), dojang etiquette, and creating a safe and motivating training environment. TOK 1 is also a pre-requisite for the more extensive Valmentaja- ja ohjaajakoulutus 1 (VOK 1) which is a mandatory requirement for the 2nd Dan black belt exam.
